Earthenware is a more delicate clay body to use in a Raku kiln, it is much more prone to break if the temperature is ramped up too quickly . It would also normally be fired to a higher temperature than is achievable in a Raku kiln . It has no grog so is a much smoother finish , This has a brown matt specked glaze.
